You should demonstrate evidence of having consulted a variety of different sources (from the reading lists provided and beyond) and of integrating such material with lecture/seminar discussion notes, practical examples drawn from current employment relations developments, and your own personal ideas and arguments.

What are the strengths and weaknesses of the different analytical perspectives (unitary, pluralist and radical approaches) to understanding the contemporary employment relationship in different settings?

Can non-union forms of employee engagement provide workers with an effective voice and representation at work?
