Although healthcare is a heavily regulated field, healthcare fraud continues to be a rampant problem that costs the United States tens of billions of dollars a year. These fraudulent activities include activities such as filing false health care claims for profit, obtaining prescriptions that are unneeded and selling them on the black market, billing for care that was never rendered, filing duplicate claims, giving kickbacks for member referrals, and prescribing unnecessary treatment. Research the current measures that the government and healthcare entities are using to combat health care fraud. Summarize the methods being used and discuss whether or not these methods are effective. Also, discuss alternative methods to combat fraud that could be used. Your paper should be between 800-1000 words and integrate external research and sources
