Assignment: Analyze Revenue Generation

It is a sports manager’s responsibility to generate revenue by using the facilities in which he/she works. As you have read in this week’s articles, developing strategies for revenue generation is executed in a variety of methods. Through an investigation using peer-reviewed literature, you will reflect on the types of revenue available in a spectator sport while evaluating its rationale. Assess the methods utilized by other sports facility managers and the strategies employed to increase ancillary revenue. For your task this week, you will write a paper that analyzes revenue-producing events at a sport venue. Explain the types of revenue available and describe the methods to produce additional profits. Be sure to provide a rationale of each method while presenting evidence that supports the rationale. Lastly, identify the importance of using the SEQSS as a form of evaluation and discuss the affect it has on customer service and retention for future revenue generation.
